BIG AND LITTLE
Artists love to play with the scale of objects in their work! Join us for a week of making artistic miniatures and large-scale paintings and sculptures. By looking at artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Nicholas Hilliard, Laurie Simmons, and Kamal al-Din Bihzad to guide the way, campers will learn techniques in visual perspective and how to transmute their concepts into grand proportions.
Tuition $158 ($126 *members) per AM/PM session / Material fee $10
Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.

Waitlist: If Regular Admission for this class is sold out, you may join the waitlist below. We will charge a $1.00 holding fee so that if a spot becomes available, we can quickly fulfill your registration request. If we're not able to seat you in this class or you cancel your waitlist request, the $1.00 holding fee will be refunded back to your card.
