DES MOINES PHOTO WALKS: OFF CAMERA LIGHTING
Strengthen your photography, composition and lighting skills while exploring Des Moines! Classes will take place outdoors to shoot photos on-location where students will learn photography fundamentals and off-camera lighting. Education on techniques with strobe lights and modifiers to create stunning images will be explored. Students will meet using sites in locations that may include the Pappajohn Sculpture Park, Yellow Banks Park, the Iowa State Capitol, Browns Woods, Blank Park Zoo, and Gray’s Lake. Classes will consist of meeting in-person to walk, shoot, and talk. Scholarships for class and or materials are offered as well.
